Device with Model Number SM-G8750 may appear as Galaxy S8 mini

There were a lot of talks and assumptions about devices with model numbers SM-G8750 and G8850. Both handsets could probably be future Galaxy S9 mini, but TENAA added photos of G8850 and informed that it is a version of Galaxy S9 made for Chinese consumers. A device will include a lot of features of S9+ and will have a lot in common in design with devices from Apple.
Galaxy S8 Mini for Chinese market
One of the trusted sites informed that a handset with the number G8750 may be a Galaxy S8 mini but not Galaxy S9 mini, as it was thought earlier. A device was certified with the name Dream Light, so there are assumptions that it will not be a big Smartphone.
Galaxy S8 mini or Light will have to be a popular Smartphone among Chinese users and will probably help to return number one position to Samsung. It is not a secret that a Korean giant lost its market share in China. Galaxy S8 mini will be a medium range device and will be available for majority of customers. No one known’s what other strategies Samsung will use to return its popularity and fame on the Chinese market.  It is known that the Chinese are spoilt because of many local manufacturers that propose high quality devices for reasonable price.

Misunderstanding with Fresh Update for Galaxy S7 from Verizon

Owners of Galaxy S7 Smartphones in North America were waiting for a new update from Verizon. It had to be Android Oreo 8.0. Verizon provided information on the support pages that a fresh update will contain this month’s security patch and Oreo 8.0.  Maybe, a carrier hurried a little bit to provide details about a fresh update.
“Little” misunderstanding
Many users of Galaxy S7 hoped to receive an Oreo 8.0, but when they updated their Smartphones, it was mentioned that their devices are still Android Nougat 7.0. It is really confusing. It seems that Verizon proposed a really small update with this month’s security patch. It is necessary to mention that American careers are not really fast at providing fresh Android versions to Smartphones. Everyone hopes that an Android update will appear in the nearest future, but an exact date is still unknown.
Support page from Verizon provides some details about an Oreo update. It will include such features as autofill, mode picture in picture, Dual Messenger, fresh theme for a keyboard and improved interface for the Smartphone application.
If you wish to get the latest security parch, just go to Settings, then tap Download updates.

Useful Features of an Edge Screen on Galaxy S6

When a Korean giant released Galaxy S6 with the dual-curve screen, clients were a little bit skeptical about a new device and utility of the new feature. At first an Edge Screen on Galaxy S6 was not really functional, but after three years of updating, a Korean company added some interesting features.
Edge screen became more useful thanks to numerous updates
Today, everyone can use an Edge Screen to make screenshots, GIFs, to activate such tasks as going to a selfie camera, have a look at your reminder that is in Bixby and many others. More than that, users can have an access to their number one applications and contacts. The Edge screen is working from anywhere in the Smartphones interface.
Earlier, not so many owners of Galaxy S6 used features of an Edge Screen, only some of them took advantage of a fast access to different info and actions. Several years passed and now, more and more clients start using an Edge Screen and its advantages. Probably there will be more fans of an Edge screen in the future, because it became really functional.

Oreo for Galaxy S7 Will Be Released in a Month

Owners of Galaxy S7 are impatiently waiting for an update that will bring Oreo 8.0. It has to happen in the nearest future, but if to trust an official site of a Korean giant, a fresh update will not appear earlier than one month.  So, cross fingers and wait till the middle of May.
Release of Oreo for S7
It is known that Verizon, one of the biggest carriers provided an update for Galaxy S7. It happened two or three days ago. Verizon informed at the support page for the Smartphone that Oreo was finally rolled out.  A lot of users didn’t waste time and downloaded a fresh firmware update on their devices. It was mentioned that it didn’t provide Oreo. All devices were still running Nougat.
Guncelmiyiz is a site where Samsung informs about the latest updates on the Turkish market. Info on the website helps to understand when the rest of markets will get such desired updates. A site was updated and now it shows a new schedule where everyone can find information that Oreo for Galaxy S7 will be released only in the middle of May.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed an official date of Oreo release for this handset, so there is a chance that a date may change again.
Of course, it is a high time to provide an Update for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, because even such device as A5 has already received a new update. Owners of S7 Smartphones are counting days till an update and hope that it will finally arrive.
